Accidentals: Divine History

There sure is something interesting about history. Is it because it's a story, or the sense of mystery? Perhaps the awe inspiring wonder of what it would be like if we found ourselves living those long lost times.
I ponder: is history really out of reach? Weren't our predecessors people too? Why do we not want to be in their shoes?
Which remind me, I have a story for you... of a distant past... none who lived it ever wished it gone. None who learned of it, wished it not for themselves.
It was a time before the complexities of civilization. It was not easy, but it was not sad. I speak of the year 303 of the lord...
It was a time when we had access to powers! We knew how to tap into our life force. We were loved, but we were weak! Humanity was not ready yet to carry the burdens of life. So the lord had allowed us truce: a time to adapt. We needn't harvest virtue through acts of patience. There were no struggles.
At the time, there was not any path to sainthood, but charity. Once a day, neighbors shared their food, and many times a day, smiles were exchanged. It was a time which shall never come to pass again... until! prophecies whisper, the time when we live in a realm beyond the known 7 heavens and lands. Where all we desire is within reach, and all we ever seek is good...
