Accidentals: The god in us
Sometimes I find it necessary to wonder if God is the god of the Jews; an angry god, vengeful and unforgiving. I have seen him in some people: apathetic, unapologetic, and unforgiving. That is, if we accept the theology of the Hindus; that perhaps there really is a god in all of us, in the literal sense. The Islamic view is slightly different, of course. It claims the soul comes from God. In this sense, it is only a matter of where the raw material comes from as opposed to the actual existence of a god in us.
But perhaps they are both takes on the same reality. Perhaps they are both attempts to explain an unattainable truth.
