Unearthed: Thoughts: Chapter 1 part 1 Truth

Learn to Accept

I am not sure anymore if conveying thought is about how the words are said, or what the words are! Things haven't been going too well recently. To be honest, they never quite did. Though I may be partially responsible for that, as I've asked God to test me by throwing me into the worst cases possible, as means to cleanse my sins. So, here I am, declaring it is more painful than I thought. In other words, I hereby declare that my life contains people who are easily capable of tearing my heart!
I owe it to you, dear reader, to be honest. Please forgive the hurtful words which will follow. Frankly, maybe saying the truth isn't as beneficial as lying. Who of us never told a white lie? Who of us, never bluffed? Once again, I am not saying I did. But if I did, I apologize.
Life isn't as fantastic as children think it is. By the 21st of June 2010 I realized that even my dad stated several inaccuracies. I don't know if he meant to or not. No matter, a person should follow his own advice, wouldn't you agree? "Think twice about something before you do it".
I imagine, back in the golden/dark age, people appreciated good deeds and pious personalities. Although those are still relevant, nowadays nearly 99.99 percent of the world, including some Muslims, Christians, and Jews, do not abide by their own teachings. Namely... people lie. They lie to build relationships. They strive to gain higher salaries through insincerity. When are you guys going to open up your eyes to the world?! Lying is not pious!
Does the truth reassure us a better life? The answer simply is no.  The stories of those who told the truth aren't always pleasant. A thief will get into prison, a prisoner will get killed…etc. "Telling the truth must be sugarcoated by lies as to not hurt people's feelings!" is today's golden motto. If your first love asks you "do you like that girl?" do you dare answer truthfully? You'd get the sword!
How could I not hurt people? Must I reinvent myself? All of me?! Not quite. Just some essentials! Hiding hatred towards others is a good start. But you may want to dig deep to unravel why you hate them in the first place. You might find your reasons are too fleeting and change your mind. The good news is; if you practice something for around a month on daily basis, it will become a habit. Try changing your feelings by enacting opposites! Your only hurdle is: if you are unwilling to change, you won't.
Lying has become a plague. But have we considered what the truth could achieve?! Probably not. Whenever we think of getting a better life, many will consider lying. We deny it is more harmful than stealing. In time physical loss can be forgotten. However, spiritually and emotionally, lying can destroy your life. Our lives. In business, it is the door to failure. In families, it is the path to betrayal. In society, it is the gate to mistrust.
Telling the truth will not only help you in your current life but, if you believe in the afterlife, it will then too. You will lose nothing by saying the truth! Telling the truth might help you escape danger. Such is the moral tale of a man fleeing execution. He asks for a farmer's help. The farmer allows him to hide in a pile of straw. Later, guards ask the farmer about the man.
"Here" the farmer points. He tells the truth! The guards couldn't believe the farmer because hiding in straw can't be hiding. The man? He got to keep his head!
If you tend to confront people who punish you for telling the truth, then we are alike. That said, I've come to realize, perhaps it is not my words which get me in trouble, but my delivery! Maybe the way words are said is important.
I suppose words are important too. Say I say: many before me tried to teach people the above lessons, but because you readers are too STUPID to apply, you'll never act! You'd most likely reprimand me.
I know how painful it is to realize someone is lying to you. This isn't because I am a genius. It is because I've been there. You are not alone. Lying slowly consumes our souls. It seeps the good from our hearts until we are zombies!
