Unearthed: Thoughts: Chapter 2 part 1 Beauty

Learn how to let things go

Telling the truth isn't hard. But it might come very close. I am not making any sense, am I!? Let me rephrase. Telling the truth is hard. It requires a person with great courage and a clear conscience to verbalize it. Many of us, I'm sure, are comfortable with this notion.
So, there are those who need guidance (liars) and those who are responsible for guidance (the righteous). And many more varieties of people. Surely, many unacceptable acts are being committed out there in the world, and many more imaginative creations of creative souls. If we take a moment to think about our diversity, we'll realize; the world is beautiful... But it needs people to appreciate it!
I can now see, and only now, that people who say: "I'd rather live a lie instead of life" stopped embracing reality. Yes there are the cautious, calculating realists who appreciate probabilistic avoidance of danger. But there are also the optimistic children at heart. Whichever way your thoughts sway, keep on thinking. For thoughts are a free treasure of life.
All thoughts have the potential to benefit the world! I think "I'd rather live reality than  a lie"! I can relate to the feelings of Truman Burbank, from The Truman Show (1998). In saying this I'm agreeing with the idea that living a lie is like not living at all.
There sure is beauty in life. Here is a simple exercise: think about your favorite food, or your favorite desert, or your favorite color, or a situation where you liked everything, you couldn't choose at all! Would you not say this is a simple proof this world is beautiful?!
If you love video-games and lock yourself in your room for days at a time, you might be enjoying it. Do note, however; you are experiencing but a tiny glimpse of what "reality" can offer. One of the beauties of life is the power to choose. Just like how the universe has dimensions, life has its own. By choosing to live life in a single manner, immersing yourself in gaming, or otherwise, and I'm only using gaming as an example, you may not realize you have locked yourself in a single dimension. There is a world of vast possibilities out there, go get it.
It is said that the best judge of a person's character, is the person himself. However, that is not always the case. Often we need others to tell us who we are and and where our hearts lie, such is the past case. For instance, I had a friend who really, and I mean passionately, appreciated trendy hairstyles and athletic people. Yet, until, he was informed of such, he had no idea. Take one more: I had a friend who was a really talented writer, but didn't realize it until my friends and I told him so. Not convinced yet? I was recently told I liked Japan to a fault! I had no idea!
Incidentally, it is strange how a healthy physical appearance is easily mistaken for charisma, to the point a person with good outward appearance can, by simply walking by, be a real source of inspiration. For me my first encounter with this notion was through Mr. Brown who found himself employed by my high-school at the time. I suppose had he not had his build, I would've never found out he visited several countries before ending up here. This later part was so interesting to me I ended up buying his autobiography. Great book by the way. You can get it on Amazon.
