Accidentals: Ever-adaptive
I was reading an article in psychology, as often is my habit, when an awe inspiring idea struck me: humans are amazing!
To give you some context: the article was talking about how the degenerative effect of aging is a blessing in disguise. The author reasoned the reason older people are happy is because they don't only let go of the small annoying things happening around them, they actually become incapable of noticing the small annoying things around them, in the process, they become happier!
I thought, I notice little things sometimes too. More interestingly I change my behavior accordingly. The one time I was sharing a video, when the person I'm sharing the video with started squinting. I immediately increased the brightness of the screen. I'm sure you adapt to your surroundings by noticing little things like that too!
Humans' ever-adaptive behavior is amazing!
